Idle RPG App Performance in France - Q4 2020 Android Analysis

In the final quarter of 2020, the Idle RPG genre saw varied performance across its leading apps on the Android platform in France. Sensor Tower's data provides insights into the trends of these games in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Hero Wars: Alliance experienced a decrease in downloads from 11K in the last week of September to 3K by the end of December. Weekly active users also declined from 42K to 33K in the same period, while revenue peaked at 89K in late November before settling to 70K at year's end.

Idle Heroes showed a slight upward trend in downloads, starting at 406 and doubling to 644 by the last two weeks of December. The active user base started at 17K and saw a modest decrease to 14K over the quarter.

For Ulala: Idle Adventure, downloads were relatively stable, beginning at 225 and reaching a high of 520 in the third week of December. Active users saw a slight dip from 9K to 8K during the quarter, while revenue experienced a significant rise in early December, hitting 29K before ending the period at 25K.

Taptap Heroes: Idle RPG had a varied quarter, with downloads peaking at 1.7K in the last week of October then falling to 559 by the end of December. Active users saw an overall increase from 25K at the start of the quarter to 22K at its close.

Lastly, Tap Titans 2: Clicker Idle RPG experienced an increase in downloads from 749 to 1.4K in the third week of December, before ending the period at 1K. Active users showed growth in December, starting at 3K and reaching a high of 3.5K before dropping slightly to 2.9K.
